• Why don't you have a street address listed here?

    Saratoga Computer is a private business that does not have a storefront or retail presence. To avoid having our information exposed on the internet and open to abuse, we choose to contact our customers directly by phone and/or email.

  • Do you service Apple computers?

    To be honest, most of our business is in supporting Windows based computers, however, since Apple computers are such a good choice for some users, we are happy to service them.

  • Are your prices listed online?

    For most of our customers we provide a custom quote based on needs, distance, and repeat business. We can provide individual service prices on request, but recommend combining all your service needs onto one invoice for the best possible discounts.

  • Can I come to you?

    If you are willing to travel to us, we will certainly accomodate you. We will take machines in need of repair, and either return them to you (for a fee over 15 miles) or arrange for your pickup.

  • I run a small business that needs equipment. Can I buy it from you?

    In general, we will not act as a reseller for our clients. We will gladly put together equipment quotes and recommendations to fit your needs though. We believe that it is much easier for the end user to have equipment purchased in their own name to simplify support and repair arrangements with the manufacturer.

  • Are there discounts for family/spouse/employee training?

    Absolutely. Tutoring for each additional family member or employee session is at a 30% discount. Please note, however, that each additional student carries a 10% surcharge if trained simultaneously.

  • I just need some software installed. Do you fill one-time orders?

    We welcome one-time orders as much as we do repeat business. We are as happy to get good referrals from first time clients as we are from old ones.

  • ...So am I going to get calls from your future customers asking for a reference?

    No. Unless of course, you are so pleased with us that you feel compelled to volunteer. In that case, we will ask you ahead of time how and when you would prefer to be contacted and we will keep that information in writing.

  • What if I am just looking for technical advice?

    No problem. For first time customers, we will provide the answers to simple questions as a complimentary service. In return, we'd like to hear from you again when you need one of the solutions we provide. If the answers you need require research, there is a $60/hr fee, billed in 1 hour increments.
